I always knew I wanted a career path that required me to work with children and their families. When I did my fieldwork placement in an elementary school, I knew in my heart that I had chosen the right career path as a pediatric occupational therapist. Helping these students enhance/develop skills, as simple as cutting out a picture or writing their name independently, was so rewarding. Watching their faces light up when they knew they had accomplished something was everything to me. Joining Listening Partners right after graduating, has helped me grow as a therapist and also try 'new things'. As a new grad, I was very much nervous about working with children under the age of 3. Today, I can say that this is meant for me. I have learned and continue to learn so much from these little humans. I love spending time with my family and friends , traveling, walking, and cuddling with my pup 'Sammi', trying new foods, drinking coffee, and listening to latin music.

I'm a pediatric occupational therapist working with children of all ages. I decided to pursue OT because I have a childlike spirit and a passion for play-based therapy. My main priority is to create an environment that's safe and filled with fun, all while helping your children build up the skills they need to conquer their daily adventures. I have an interest in sensory integration and am all about figuring out how your little ones process and integrate their senses. In my spare time, I enjoy going on walks, hanging with family and friends, and finding new coffee shops where I can enjoy reading a good book.
Fun Fact: I love playing board games.

I chose occupational therapy because I love the holistic and meaningful approach to it. You look at a person as a whole and consider what's truly important to them and get to use their interests as motivation as well as the goal. I enjoy working in pediatrics because every child is so unique and each session is so individualized. I take pride in creating a safe and fun environment for them to grow, and I love to see them gain skills and build confidence in their abilities. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, and reading a good book outside.
Fun fact: I was born on the 4th of July and I get to spend every birthday watching fireworks
